Our custom curtain pole design service is designed to make the process of measuring and ordering your pole easy and convenient. There is a choice of unique hand forged steel finials all finished to the highest standard by polishing the steel to bring out its natural colour before being finished with oils and wax to preserve its beauty

How to order a straight curtain pole

Choose the diameter and length of pole required using the diagram below as a guide - do not include the length of the finials in your measurement. Poles available in 12,16 and 20 mm.
However we can do larger and smaller diameters if required... please feel free to ask.

Choose the style of finials required. For a pole that needs to fit up close to a wall, choose one finial and a recess bracket for the wall end. Finial lengths are shown alongside the pictures of each finial. (view finials) Choose the style and number of brackets that are required. We normally recommend a vertical or horizontal bracket at each end of the pole and a central support bracket for poles between 2m and 3m in length. For longer poles needing more than one support bracket, you will need to use 'hook' brackets - note that these should be used in conjunction with open curtain hooks, which are designed to run past the brackets. How to order a bay window pole

Bay windows can be tricky to measure and if the measurements are slightly wrong it can be embarrassing as well as inconvenient when it does not fit……. SO, what we suggest if you want a bay window curtain pole is to e-mail us your address, we will then enclose in an A4 envelope a thin sheet of plastic, permanent ink marker and an angle measuring tool with instructions of how to draw up a template of the bay window area then, when complete, if you can send back the drawing we will transfer it to the workshop floor and produce an exact reproduction. If due to disability or inconvenience and/or if you live in the Bath area, we will be pleased to call to your home and do this for you ourselves.
